MALLET x Normski: Got Soul

MALLET London x Normski “Got Soul” is a limited edition collaboration with the legendary London photographer, broadcaster and DJ. Since documenting the UK’s emerging hip hop scene in the 1980s, Normski has shot icons from Public Enemy to Wu-Tang Clan, with his work held in the V&A’s permanent collection.

Designed closely with the MALLET team, the collection features his take on two silhouettes: the GRFTR Lite, with an outsole printed in N-tooth, a custom houndstooth built from his initial, and the Kingsbury, with a transparent tread revealing an embedded contact sheet print. Orange, Normski’s favourite colour, runs throughout as a nod to the Roland 808. The collection is completed by T-shirts featuring photography from his archive.
